The water at the campsite comes from alpine springs – fresh, clean and drinkable. But in the summer months it becomes scarce. A conventional shower head uses 10–12 litres per minute. That adds up quickly – even in the mountains, where water often travels long distances.
That is why we rely on water-saving technology, and on your awareness too: keep showers short, turn off the tap while brushing your teeth, use washing-up water thoughtfully – small habits make a big difference.
👉 In dry summers every litre can count – thank you for doing your bit!
